Brouwers, Greetje
Madame Brouwer or Mevrouw Brouwer (Dutch for Mrs.)
Usually called Brouwer rather than Brouwers in press and her first name is only given in Dutch sources; it is never used in English language papers except in the Scottish press in June 1935 where it was reported three Dutch women broke records at the Dundee Belmont Club Swimming Gala – Miss Willy den Ouden, Miss Annie Timmermans and Greetje Brouwers, all of Rotterdam Ladies Club. Brouwers won the 200 yards breast stroke in 2:50, taking 4 seconds off the Scottish all-comers record
