Kevin Murphy emerging from the sea.

Between the years of 1976 and 2006 Kevin made 34 successful crossings of the Dover Strait. He swam 9 France to England solo swims, and 17 England to France. Kevin also swam three non-stop two way swims. All of these swim are recognied by the Channel Swimming Association. He made a further two successful swims with the Channel Swimming and Piloting Federation.

This makes Kevin the swimmer to have achieved the most crossings for a man.
