Channel swimming scrap book by C.E. Thomas

Channel Swimming Scrap Book 1951 Black and White Photographs Image shows the front cover of a scrap book of photographs collected and compiled by Major Cecil E. Thomas, between 1947 and 1951. The images show a number of swimmers, many of whom were members of Folkestone Swimming Club at this time. The album also features pictures of swimmers from many countries who took part in the Daily Mail Cross Channel Race in 1950 and 1951.
