Photocopy of Booklet about Captain Webb's 'Great Swim'

Black and white photocopy of a fourteen page supplement to The Dover Express 1 September 1905.

The supplement consists of fourteen photocopied sheets of A4, each showing a double page from the supplement. It contains a a narrative of Captain Webb’s swim to France, a portrait of him, maps and key dates in Channel Swimming history. It is entitled: “Capt. Webb’s Great Swim from England to France”,and underneath says: “Price One Penny”.
