Sally Bauer, Sweden 1951 Daily Mail Race 1951.

Daily Mail Race Festival of Britain 1951 Sally Bauer at Folkestone Pool competed as a swimmer in the 1951 Daily Mail Race.

Sally was the 16th. person to finish overall in a time of 14hrs 40mins.

Sally Bauer had swam the Channel in 1939, in a time of 15hrs 22minutes. The Channel Swimming Association was disbanded at that time because of the Second World War, so her swim was not ratified until 1975
