Kaye, Philip

Philip swam the Channel France to England in 1966 in a time of 16 hours 16 minutes. He also made two unsuccessful attempts in 1965; 21 July 11 hours 26 minutes and 6 September 14 hours 32 minutes. Each time he was within 1/2 a mile from the English Coast.

Philip was the first British Breast stroke swimmer and is still the holder of the British record, France – England.
