From Zurich. One successful swim England to France 1988, time 14 hours 28 minutes. In 1989 she was also successful in the Sri Chinmoy Oneness Peace Relay Team

Sri Chinmoy was an Indian spiritual leader who taught meditation in the West after moving to New York City in 1964. Sri Chinmoy specialised in mental training for endurance sports and founded the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Swim Team in 1977 which has trained a number of cross-Channel solo swimmers including Mohrle, Karteek Clarke, Vedika Bolliger and Michael Brisson. From 1985 until his death in 2007, his swimmers made 38 successful crossings
