Dogan Sahin, Turkey. Personal swimming record: Turkey 1953, 42km in 13 hours 2 minutes. France 1954, Amateur winner of International Marathon at St. Nazaire. 5th in both Marathon de Paris 1956 and Marathon de Laois 1956.

Also entered for 1958 Channel Race; he swam for 12 hours but was unsuccessful.
