She is listed amongst the large number of aspirants at Dover/Cap Gris Nez in 1927, most of whom would be frustrated by constant poor conditions. There is no record of her starting an attempt

Phyllis Scott, a nurse who won the Taff Swim in 1921 and also triumphed in the five-and-a-half mile long Kew to Putney Long Distance Swimming Championship at age 18.
