StreeterNotes Completing his second crossing, Mr Flambard reached Cap Gris Nez on the French coast last night in 11 hours, 23 minutes and 12 seconds - about an hour slower than his first swim from England to France.A member of the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club and the local branch of the Royal Lifesaving Society, Mr Flambard (34) was followed in his pilot boat by 41-times Channel swimmer Alison Streeter, JLDSC vice-president Charlie Gravett and club member Sammy Maletroit, who is hoping to complete her first Channel swim next weekend.To date, there are 12 Jerseymen and women who have swum the English Channel - who between them have completed 16 crossings.
