Helge Jensen, of Maple, Ontario, Canada. Twice winner of the European Championship swim in the Loire river (France) in 1955 and 1956. In the Billy Butlin race 1959 he was fourth in a time of 13hrs 17mins 45secs. He set a new World record on Aug 30 of 10hrs 23mins.

Aug 3 1960 he was unsuccessful France to England in a time of 7hrs. He won the 1959 21 mile professional race in Quebec, he was also second in 1958. He set a new record for Lake Windermere. 1960 4hrs 58mins.
